Rising French Electronic Producer MATVEÏ Shares ’90s-Inspired House Hit “Highs&Lows”
From his forthcoming EP Tales For Nightclubs #1, due this March via Kitsuné Musique, rising Parisian producer and DJ Matveï has shared his addictive new single “Highs&Lows”. Inspired by the colourful ’90s underground scene and stimulating nu-house music, the new track is another stellar release from the growing name in electronic music.
About the song, he shares: “I made HIGHS&LOWS in one night. The vision was to come up with a warm and melodic club song, ornamented with a bunch of interesting percussions (tablas, talking drums, angklung…). To make the drops, I imagined myself wandering through a tropical rainforest.”
Its lush, tropical details adds a summery and warm-spirited energy that pulses along courtesy of the steady four-to-the-floor kick.
