Vancouver-Based Modern Blues Artist Paul Caldwell Shares New Single “Written All Over My Heart”
Ireland-bred, Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Paul Caldwell has shared his modern blues-rock single “Written All Over My Heart”. Written about the feelings of looking back fondly on old memories of loved ones while away from home, the song’s bright and optimistic spirit rings true throughout its duration. An anthemic for the nomadic spirits, “Written All Over My Heart” is a rugged and feel-good track that brings out the likes of Ray LaMontagne, Van Morrison, and hints of Neil Young.
Paul wrote “Written All Over My Heart” on a flight back to Vancouver, high above the earth, and feeling that aching loneliness. About the song, he elaborates: “I had to reassure myself that somewhere, even in my darkest thoughts, there can be light”.
