Alt-Pop Artist Deb Never Shares Energizing New Single “Crutches” Alongside Tour Dates
Building off the momentum of her successful 2021 EP, Where Have All The Flowers Gone?, Deb Never has shared her new single ‘Crutches.’
Released alongside a visualizer, “Crutches” is an instant ‘be yourself’ anthem, bursting with energy and seize-the-day lyrics. Acknowledging the anxiety that can coincide with being completely true to yourself, the empathetic lyrics treads the line between self-sabotage and self-discovery in which you have no choice but to keep going.
A mix of punk, new wave, grunge and alternative-pop, the track features low percussion and melodic guitar, allowing Deb Never’s vocals to stand at the forefront. As “Crutches” draws to a close, the message comes through loud and clear, the lyrics ‘No matter what they say ya better hold your head up, no way out,’ repeating against the grunge guitar.
Deb Never also shared upcoming tour dates alongside the release of ‘Crutches,’ which is available now.
