Indietronica Artist MA/SA Shares New Single “Pedal To The Floor”
Grammy-nominated artist Matthew Santos released his new EP MMXXII back in February, and has shared its latest single “Pedal To The Floor”. Performing under the moniker MA/SA, Santos crafts dense, expressive electronica, lead by his ethereal vocal melodies. On his latest effort, the song’s emotion weaves into its production, as vocal effects and cinematic synthesizers swirl together.
About the song, MA/SA explains: “This song came from a place of having to confront a sense of pending doom within the collapsing world capitalism has left us. At its core, it’s a song about feeling helpless, sometimes at the whim of forces beyond your control“.
For a limited time, all Bandcamp sales of “Pedal to the Floor” will be donated to the Fight for Right, Hungarian Helsinki Committee, and Fundacja Ocalenie organizations who are seeking to provide aid for the crisis in Ukraine.
