Brisbane Indie Rock Trio Last Dinosaurs Unveil New Music Video For “Look Back” Ahead Of Extensive Upcoming Tour

Brisbane indie-rock trio Last Dinosaurs have shared their glossy new single “Look Back”. With a bittersweet aura, the song examines “the sorrow of flying away from your lover,” says vocalist/guitarist Lachlan Caskey.

Psych-pop guitars and stellar synthesizers merge ’00s boy-band pop ballad with bedroom indie rock for a future-nostalgia heartbreak hit.

Leaning into the contrasting modern-retro feel, the accompanying music video combines old school video game graphics with modern technology.

Directed by Jeoffrey Cheung and Dontae Carter, the video shows Lachlan trapped in a SIMs-like dreamworld of changing spaces, waiting to get out.
