Los Angeles Indie Pop Artist Francisco Martin Shares New Single “Nobody Listens To Me!” From Upcoming EP ‘Manic’
Los Angeles-based indie pop singer-songwriter/producer Francisco Martin has officially announced his new EP Manic is set for release later this year. After reaching the Top 5 in American Idol in 2020, his first-ever tour and a handful of well-received singles, Martin has continued his momentum with his anthemic single “Nobody Listens To Me!”.
A colourful combination of anthemic hooks, barrelling guitar riffs, and cathartic angsty-pop rock vocals gives the new single life, as Martin sings about feelings of frustration during a time where he thought he might just give up. About the song he shares, “It’s easy to feel like what you do doesn’t matter and people don’t take you seriously, but making this song helped me get out of a bad headspace. I hope when people hear it, it does the same for them“.
With “Nobody Listens To Me!” as the first step, the rest of the upcoming EP continues its focus on his personal reflections, bravely with topics such as mental health, relationships, angst, and human disconnection in the age of connection. “This EP is close to my heart. I know it’s a risky move, but this is my truth. As long as I am an artist, I will continue to push the limits,” he says.
