Norwegian alternative hip-hop artist Maki Adams has shared his new single “Like I Do”. Combining future-house with bedroom Soundcloud emo-trap, the new single is both invigorating and poignant, as his dreamy and sincere vocals add a layer of personal reflection across a glitchy backdrop.
About the song, he shares: “‘Like I Do’ was written about feeling close to someone because you’ve gone through the same trauma in your lives. Making this song was the first time I got to work with Cary Singer, and he provided a real focus to my creative process. This song means a lot to me and I’m excited for it to be in the world”.
