Indie Singer-Songwriter Steinza Shares Lush New Single “Slipknot” From Upcoming EP

Zachary Stein, better known on stage as Steinza, has shared his new single “Slipknot”, the first single from his upcoming EP. What began as a childhood obsession after picking up his older sister’s hand-me-down guitar, has now become a full-blown operation of soulful singer-songwriter music from the Virginia Beach native.

With clear influences from the likes of John Mayer to Bon Iver and Dallas Green, Steinza brings a dreamy pop edge to his indie style. For his latest offering, Steinza sings about being pushed to his breaking point in a relationship and finally breaking it off. With an acoustic guitar and lush synthesizers and a cello to round it out, “Slipknot” incorporates a subtle cinematic quality from within the humble bedroom indie pop style.
