Singer-Songwriter Steven Curtis Reflects On A Quarter-Life Crisis With New Single “Patience”

As a one-man band, singer-songwriter Steven Curtis has the advantage of ensuring his music is 100% him. On his new single “Patience”, he adds to the individual feat with candid and diary-like lyricism, as he reflects on where he is in life at the moment.

“‘Patience’ is] a song about a quarter life crisis”, he beings. “They say comparison is the thief of joy. While being a musician certainly has the struggles of watching your close ones seem to achieve a certain level of success while you feel you’re still getting the ball rolling. This is my version of comparing all the things I have and hoping that all of it will line up in some day“.

With a hopeful ambition in his voice, and melancholic guitar strums at his fingertips, “Patience” is a poignant and heartfelt letter to himself that will hopefully bring out more sincerity as the years pass.
