Brooklyn Artist Richie Quake Shares Introspective New Single “Crawl” Alongside Anna Shoemaker

Brooklyn based singer-songwriter/producer Richie Quake may have just recently embarked on a supporting role in Ireland rapper Rejjie Snow’s North American run, but on “he’s still “second guessing the life that he chose on the way to the show”. 

The nauseatingly distorted instrumental foundation perfectly backs the approach of an artist whose vocals were once dubbed as a “subtle outcry for personal acceptance” by Lyrical Lemonade. On “Crawl”, Richie is able to capture the claustrophobic nature of his questioning thoughts with a sung delivery that is not too tame yet not too freely associated. The implementation of fellow Brooklyn singer-songwriter Anna Shoemaker on the backend adds some timely controlled chaos to leave the listener with as they answer to their own inner voices of the day.
