Indie Artist Bay Ledges Cleans Up A River In New Music Video For Latest Single “In Water”
When bedroom creative Zach Hurd conceived of his Bay Ledges project, it “began as an attempt to make fun, creative sounds with no expectation”. Although that inception occurred now over 7 years ago, “In Water” does not stray from the mission of Bay Ledges one bit.
“In Water” opens with whimsical hums and wooden sounding drums that make the song bounce along like clockwork. Hurd splices in wondrous self-affirmations throughout, including “don’t be scared, you’re prepared/just be still, I will”. To be straightforward, this song is the perfect soundtrack to cleaning a severely polluted body of water, much as Hurd does in the accompanying music video. It is the theme song to improving one’s environment and enhancing one’s life.
