17-Year-Old Singer-Songwriter Lexie Carroll Shares Dazzling New Single “The Sky Looked Nice Today”

Lexie Carroll, the 17-year-old London rising star has released her latest EP when the sun came up, a 5 track release which includes her latest track and video for “the sky looked nice today” which charts Lexie’s story in finding inner strength and experiencing the world’s beauty following personal recovery.

Leading the way is Carroll’s angelic vocal delivery, padded with warm harmonies overtop a simple acoustic guitar pattern, as she sings about her journey of personal recovery as she begins to see the world opening up in technicolour after darker days. The track’s video charts this journey as it features Lexie emerging from her darkened bedroom into bright sunshine and open nature, indulging in finally being unafraid to experience and enjoy the simple pleasures in life.

Speaking on the new track, Lexie said, “the sky looked nice today’ is about feeling the world in all its intensity and finally finding the strength in myself to navigate it.”
