Chicago Power Pop Trio Aunt Kelly Tease Upcoming Debut Album ‘Remember’ With New Single “Nurturing”

Aunt Kelly, the Chicago power-pop trio comprised of vocalist/guitarist/pianist Kelly Hannemann, bassist Dan Gianaris and drummer Sarah Weddle, are preparing to release their debut LP Remember later this year. The 7-track album is heavily inspired by stadium glam-pop and the humble bedroom indie songwriting.

The next step towards the release is “Nurturing”, a fast-paced, guitar rock anthem written about Hannemann’s personal shortcomings in romantic relationships and the disparity between fantasy and reality. Like a bolt of lightning, the song drives forward for a lively 2-minutes, as the band take listeners on a frantic, punk-fuelled listening experience.
