Since unveiling her debut single “Starting Without U” back in April, Amsterdam-based alt-pop artist Wytiki has shared her stunning follow-up single “Salt” – both of which will be on her upcoming EP out later this year.
Showcasing her angelic vocals and dreamy songwriting style, the new single is an emotional and heartbreaking tune that is elevated by her expressive performance. About the single, she shares: “The song Salt is about standing besides someone you care about a lot, who’s not doing well. How difficult this can be, for the people around the person. Wanting to help, but knowing you can not take away the pain.
How do you manage to carry someone you love, when life leans so heavily on them. Salt is a song about feeling love for someone who doesn’t think they’re worth loving.’’
