Indie Folk Artist Paul Cook & The Chronicles Keeps Things Optimistic On Warmhearted New Single “Parade”
Now onto his fourth single of the year, London-born singer-songwriter Paul Cook & the Chronicles has shared “Parade”, the latest from his soon-to-be announced full-length album set for early 2023.
With his charming vocals at the forefront, the new single is an optimistic indie folk tune that embraces the lows to celebrate the highs. “‘Parade’ is a glass half full kind of song, where let-downs become success stories thanks to the place that they’ve helped to bring you to”, Paul shares. “The path might be different to the one you expected to walk but it could be all the better for it”.
Influenced by the likes of Simon & Garfunkel, Andy Shauf, and The War On Drugs, the song’s strong melodic foundation showcases Cook’s knack for combining relatable, endearing lyricism with humble, meaningful riffs.
