Post-Hardcore Act Less Than None Share Title Track From New EP ‘Identity Fading’
Bronx metalcore five-piece Less Than None recently put out their new EP Identity Fading. Serving as a the next milestone, the five-track release showcases a refined sound and more dominating approaching to songwriting.
Thematically, Identity Fading is about looking inward. “It’s about shedding who you used to be and the pain it takes to grow into someone else,” says vocalist Carlos. “This E.P is a hodgepodge of songs about grief, loss, self-awareness, reflection, nostalgia, and letting go, all in the theme of coming into the next best version of who you will be. I’m hoping these songs resonate with people who are on their own unique path of self-discovery and healing.”
Bringing forth elements of Of Mice & Men, A Day To Remember, and The Amity Affliction, the title track “Identity Fading” boasts a chaotic melodic style that balances the band’s clean and aggressive vocals, and a destructive breakdown to close out the track.
