Electronic Producer Bayeux Embraces His Own Timeline With New Single “Kismet”
UK producer Bayeux recently released his EP Primitive back in February. Returning with the next piece of his discography, the emerging artist has share the textural destiny-driven single “Kismet”.
About the single, he shares: “This song was written off the back of a chance meeting with a long lost friend. We had talked about different life choices and what led us to where we are today. I often wonder how my life would’ve played out if I had taken a different road and I try to capture that feeling with a nostalgic 90s Garage feel and uplifting/haunting synths to emulate the highs and lows of where I was at and the feeling of missing out on something that could have happened but didn’t. Ultimately, the nature of the song has a positive and uplifting effect and like to think that all the right choices were made“.
Inspired by the likes of Bonobo, Four Tet, and Tycho, Bayeux combines elements of future house, garage, and organic house to make richly detailed and melodic tracks that can fit perfectly into a bedroom mix or an underground dance floor.
