Indie Pop Singer-Songwriter ALAYN Shares Sentimental New Single “the one that got away”

Ottawa-based indie pop singer-songwriter ALAYN has shared his delicate new single “the one that got away”. Embracing the piano ballad genre with a lush R&B production style, the latest track is northing short of heartfelt and endearing.

With its sentimental lyricism, the soft bedroom-pop track is one of those songs that came naturally to ALAYN. “I just follow the inner flow, and create from that special place”, he says. “The one that got away” is just “one of those songs that feels incredibly right”.

Having yet to release an EP or album, ALAYN continues to build upon his sound, and “the one that got away” is a welcomed addition as the potential for more is on the horizon.
