Nashville Indie Artist townsend Moves Past A Breakup On New Single “yours”
Nashville-based indie singer-songwriter John Townsend has returned with his second single of 2022 with “yours”. Filled with emotional alt-pop, the new single is a candid expression of the artist’s experience from a recent break-up.
“I wrote and produced this over the course of a few months while I was trying to get past someone”, he begins. “Obviously its never easy but it always hurts a little more when you have lots of good memories that replay in your head. It’s more of an internal letter to them and how I’m making the decision to finally move on“.
