British Singer-Songwriter Georgia Parker Recounts Her First Love On Lush New Single “Selfishly Indulgent”

Kent, UK-born, Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Georgia Parker released her latest collection I Think I Know this time last year, but has now released her third single since with “Selfishly Indulgent”. A welcomed addition to the folk-inspired indie pop storytelling style, Parker turns her personal experiences into warm, relatable songs – this time, transposing her first love into a mesmerizing listening experience.

“I wanted the song to be so many things– to feel deep, and intense, and for the emotion to be all-encompassing, as well as sonically dark and compelling”, Georgia shares.

Incorporating lush, orchestral touches to her acoustic indie singer-songwriter sound, the song gradually builds into a euphoric finale, mirroring the memorable sensations of a first love.
