Vancouver Singer-Songwriter Wesley Attew Shares New Single “End of the Line”
British born, Vancouver based singer-songwriter Wesley Attew has shared his new single “End Of The Line”. Stepping slightly outside of his usual indie folk styling, the new single has the emerging artist exploring elements of indie pop as he sings about finding a place in the world.
About the song, Wesley shares, “The melody and lyrics for End Of The Line arrived almost fully formed in my head. As soon as I got my hands on a guitar, the chord progression seemed to pour out. From there, it evolved into an anthemic, indie-rock song. With chorus filled electric guitar riffs, and a grand string arrangement. It’s about pushing back against the close mindedness of my small town upbringing, whilst having compassion for how differently we all view the world. As it reaches the bridge and the closing lines, the song’s heavy atmosphere finds some hope. As we all search for our place in this world. Trying to understand each other is everything.”
Bringing forth ’10s anthemic rock in line with the likes of Rob Thomas and Keane, “End of the Line” carries a relatable strength that Attew brings with his humble indie rock style.
