Songwriting Duo Judge & Jury Team Up With Kala For Emo-Pop Hit “Broken Hearted”

For emo-punk artist Kala, his journey with music has been non-linear. While dealing with the sudden loss of his father, his band Kitsune reached its end, and so Kala turned to video games and Twitch streaming to find a new direction. Making a return to music, Kala has teamed up with songwriting/production duo Judge & Jury (Howard Benson & Neil Sanderson) for the emotive new single “Broken Hearted”. A glimpse into Kala’s struggles coping with loss and grief, the passionate new single is a commanding mix of pop-punk, and emo. Sharing sonic similarities to mid-career Blink-182, Three Days Grace, and Good Charlotte, “Broken Hearted” is rich with nostalgia and ’10s emotion.
