London-Based Costa Rican Artist Patiño Finds His Way In New Video For “te hago mal”
Latin pop artist Patiño has shared his new single “te hago mal”, a new benchmark for the London-based artist, as he steps towards a new sonic direction with an album on the way.
Incorporating elements of ubrano and reggaeton, “te hago mal” (translated to “I’m bad for you”), the new single is a tantalizing and sleek bridge of Latin-pop and R&B as Patiño tries to find a way out of the cyclical toxicity. Building on its imagery, the accompanying music video follows Patiño around London, using eye-catching cinematography to create a colourful disorientating feeling. Shot during the heat wave in the UK over the summer, the overall track and video certainly bring the heat.
