Richmond Hip-Hop Artist BlackLiq Shares New Single “Good” From Upcoming EP ‘What Will It Take’

Richmond, Virginia hip-hop artist/radio DJ Blackliq will be releasing a new six-track EP titled What Will It Take on December 16th via Man Bites Dog Records. Produced by Ohbliv, the upcoming project is a collection of expressive and lyrically-driven tracks, lead by the poignant and poetic single “Good”.

Built on a foundation of Ohbliv’s vintage-sampled production, “Good” has Blackliq sharing his appreciation for the women in his life that have made him who he is. His conscious flow nods to the minimalistic releases from Common and Mos Def, as his steady wordplay keeps the track brief yet impactful.

What Will It Take will be exclusively on Bandcamp for 30 days as of the 16th before heading to DSPs, but check out “Good” below in advance:
