Münich post-punk project Prohibition Prohibition have shared their debut single “Fiction Of Purity”. Heavily influenced by the UK/Irish post-punk scene, the dynamic and blistering new release is a powerful first impression, channeling the likes of Squid, IDLES, and Shame with their passionate delivery and explosive instrumentation.
True to the style, the song is a philosophical commentary about the hidden imperfections in the luxurious and “pure” world of upper class. Their brash, underground sound helps to complement the dichotomy of the song, with the articulate, spoken-word verses leading into crashing punk riffs.
