UK Alt Rock Group Sarpa Salpa Return With New Single “She Never Lies”

Northampton-based indie rock act Sarpa Salpa have shared their new single “She Never Lies”. Comprised of four friends, Marcus Marooth (vocals/guitar), George Neath (guitar/synth), Meg Amirghiasvand (bass/synth) and Charlie Doe (drums), the group dabble between rock styles, and their handful of releases in 2022 switched between indie pop and alt-rock. For their latest release, the band return to more alternative rock roots for the upbeat single.

Dance-ready rhythms and dynamic vocal melodies give the song its spirit, reminiscent of more North American rock band releases. Speaking on the new single the band say ‘’She Never Lies was one of the first songs we wrote together as a band! We wrote it a long time ago back when we still rehearsed at Marcus (vocals) parents house! It’s become somewhat of a live fan favourite and it felt like the perfect time to revisit it in a studio setting. We’re so proud of how it turned and think it’s some of our best work to date!”.
