Indie Rock Act Sego Return After Two Years With New Single “Tandang”
Los Angeles-based indie rock outfit Sego have shared their first bit of new music since 2020. With a third album on the way, the band have shared “Tandang”, a choppy, electro-rock track that balances dance-punk and post-punk with a glossy electro-pop glow.
Donning a cool unbothered confidence, the song delves into standing out in a crowd. “As a band, both socially and artistically, we’ve always been kind of outsiders”, the band share. “So when we moved from Utah to LA, we ended up getting a warehouse and building our own scene that would have us. Tandang is about being an outsider, but pretending to fit in, but not caring because screw them anyway, but actually wanting to be a part of something cool, but we’re cool, right? But what is cool? ..It’s complicated, ya know?”.
