German Electro-Pop Duo Milky Chance Return With New Single “Living In A Haze”
German indie pop duo Milky Chance are returning with a new album on June 9th, titled Living In A Haze, a close follow-up to their 2022 release Trip Tape II. Leading the way is the collection’s title track, and its accompanying music video.
Familiar in all the right ways, the new single stays true to the hit-making pair’s sound, as glossy guitars and sparkling synthesizers team up with dance-pop groove and pop melodies. With its club-ready beat, the song strikes a balance between being energizing and cathartic, as the song delves into feeling lost and stuck in the world.
The band says about the song, “Sometimes you lose track of what’s important, live day by day distracted and don’t really know how to get out of it. At the same time, it seems like everybody around you does not feel that way, life looks so easy when they do it and a desire builds up to have it just like that. So this one‘s for all who wanna be able to dance the pain away.”
In its accompanying video, Clemens Rehbein and Philipp Dausch, the two friends behind Milky Chance, bring the song’s theme to life as they watch the music video inside the music video come to life around them.
