Swedish indie electro-pop artist YARLIE has shared her first single of the year with “villain”. Influenced by equal parts drum n’ bass, hyper-pop, and late-night dance-pop, the catchy new release is an irresistible anthem about being on the “dark side” of a break-up.
“When I wrote this song I was in the middle of ending a relationship, where I felt that all the blame was put on me. I was the reason to why things turned out the way it did, even though it takes two to tango“, YARLIE shares.
