Alt-Pop Breakout Artist MAUVEY Announces Upcoming Mixtape ‘Before the Album 2: a brief overview’ With New Double-Side Release

Rising alt-pop artist MAUVEY has been delivering his compelling live show across North America and the UK over the last year or so. Nevertheless, his ambitious spirit has allowed the emerging artist to work on new music in the meanwhile, with a mixtape due April 14th via 604 Records. From the collection is the new double-side release “I DARE YOU TO BREAK” & “ON THE 14TH”, both of which showcase the pop artist’s cinematic and boundary-pushing style.

Speaking on “I DARE YOU TO BREAK”, MAUVEY says, “Being vulnerable is hard, trusting is hard, some people won’t ever get there without being dared to, I know that’s true for me. I DARE YOU TO BREAK is a fun way of yelling. WHATEVER HAPPENS, I’M HERE WHEN YOU NEED ME.”

Meanwhile, “ON THE 14TH” delves into the loneliness and heartbreak that comes to mind during Valentine’s season, and the fleeting romance of the casual dating world.

Following his 2022 release BEFORE THE ALBUM: a love letter to the moons of mars, MAUVEY continues to be an unstoppable force in the Canadian music scene, bringing his message of love and music to the world.
