With her debut EP on the way, fast-rising Norwegian indie pop artist MIIA has shared her stunning new single “Can’t Remember A Smile”. The cinematic and nostalgia-driven pop song serves as a love letter to Mother Earth and the fleeting rate of time.
“I used to be a very nostalgic person. I spent a lot of time browsing photo albums from a time I didn’t really recall living in myself”, she shares. “I was longing for an unknown past and it was distracting me from my present. The images blended into my dreams and I still don’t quite know which memories are real and which aren’t“.
Lead by her compelling vocals, MIIA continues to thrive as a noteworthy name in the independent music world.
