Genre-Pushing Act NOISY Join Forces With Frozemode For Unstoppable New Single “The Motive”
Alternative genre-less act NOISY and London rap artist Frozemode have come together for the punchy new single “The Motive” and its accompanying music video. Incorporating UK breakbeat, pop, rap, and synth-rock, the electrifying track is a pulsating and bass-bursting party anthem.
The collaboration came to be after NOISY reached out to Frozemode on social media, eventually landed themselves together in the studio. Bringing their natural chemistry to life, the two acts were able to perform together at The Great Escape this past spring in UK.
On the new track, NOISY commented: “We had this beat knocking around for a while with the ‘capture the motive’ hook and always knew it had to have its moment at some point. As soon as the Frozemode boys heard it they were buzzing and started writing their verses. The energy in the room for that session was crazy, all six of us were just bouncing off the walls with excitement listening to what we were creating.
We were both playing (The Great Escape) so we said we’ve gotta perform it together. They came on during our set and we went on during theirs and playing it live got us gassed for releasing it.”
Frozemode also commented on THE MOTIVE: “This track ‘captures’ the essence of turning up to a motive and feeling like no one can touch you. It’s a sick cypher-like track where we all spit some cool bars on the verses and go crazy on the hook. We made this track the first time we linked up with the NOISY boys and something just clicked straight away. We went through a couple of ideas and this one grabbed our attention as soon as we heard it.”
