Indie Rock Act Pine Barons Head In New Direction With Last Single “Summer One”

New Jersey indie rock act Pine Barons have released their third single of the year with “Summer One”, building their discography further since releasing the 2022 cover album I LOVE FISH. Their previous singles “Frantic Francis” and “Blue Dolphin” held onto their psych-tinged indie rock, and while the band’s sound has varied genres in the past, their new release drifts into more electronica-infused pop in line with The Postal Service, Owl City, and Rostam.
