Brooklyn Alt-Pop Artist Elliot Lee Returns With Ode To LGBTQIA+ Community “Easy To Be You”
Brooklyn-based indie alt-pop singer-songwriter Elliot Lee has shared their new single “Easy To Be You”. Released during Pride month, the song is dedicated to the LGBTQIA+ community, serving as an ode to the struggles that come with self-expression and identity. Through catchy melodies and playful vocal effects, Elliot Lee shares their message in the new ballad.
“[It’s] about struggling with self image and identity expression as a queer person”, Elliot shares. “It’s meant to encapsulate the (sometimes self-imposed) ebb and flow of femininity and masculinity that many of us experience and also to portray the frustration that comes with seeing other people seem to fit so easily and comfortably into those categories.”
