Indie Alt-Pop Artist nobody likes you pat Shares New Single “being broken” From Upcoming EP ‘dear…’

Saint Paul-based alt-pop artist nobody likes you pat has shared his new single “being broken”, the latest from his upcoming EP dear… due September 23rd via Nettwerk. Known for his emotion and personal songwriting style, Pat finds a familiar ground on the new track as he sings about finding a way to fight through the hard times.

 “‘being broken’ wasn’t supposed to be on this EP. I had the whole project completely finished with nothing new planned. Then suddenly, I fell into a dark depression that lasted weeks”, Pat shares about the song. “Amid that emptiness, and after some heart-to-heart conversations with the people closest to me, I started thinking (once again) about the pressure and pain that inevitably comes into our lives. Those synaptic threads start in our childhood years and continue to dig in deeply as we age. We all, in one way or another, can recognize our own brokenness, even as we fight back with our own healing. With the highly personal and detailed nature of the rest of the songs on this EP, I consider this one a simple and relatable letter to the listener — and to myself.”

Melodic and heartfelt, “being broken” wonderfully exemplifies pat’s music, adding another layer to his story and discography.
