Vancouver’s Swollen Members are tearing up the west-coast hip-hop scene with their latest release Brand New Day.
The album is overflowing with solid hip-hop tracks, with MadChild and Prevail displaying some of their best rapping.
Starting off strong with synth-raging “Nemesis”, it instantly drops into “Blood Sport”, withPrevail ripping through his verses with speed, accuracy and intensity, and MadChild effortlessly spitting rhymes like it’s a walk in the park.
With a number of hits from the album, from “Nemesis” to “Cock Blocker” and “Power”, the consistency of the album is both impressive and refreshing.
