Bombay Harambee – Interval
(If you like: Interpol, The Strokes, Sonic Youth)
Indie rock outfit Bombay Harambee aim to create “arresting and literate post-punk”, and with their debut album Goldmine hitting shelves February 19th, the four-piece on are the right track.
Their lead single from the upcoming collection boasts the garage-fi appeal of punk with the matured and articulate stylings of post-punk. “Interval” explodes, pauses, destroys, soothes, and entertains for a new generation of ’80s new wave and distorted indie rock.
You can pre-order Goldmine through their website, which will be available in digital and CD format, along with a special vinyl release. The first pressing of the vinyl release will contain artwork from cartoonist Gustav Carlson, and a treasure map designed by frontman Alexander Jones, leading to the limited edition goldenrod vinyl.
