Minneapolis hip-hop duo Atmosphere have been making music together for over 20 years, and the team of DJ Ant and MC Slug are keeping their streak alive. Fishing Blues, the alternative hip-hop duo’s seventh album, will be out August 12th.

The first look into the new collection comes with the new single and music video “Ringo”. With Ant’s production connecting old-school and alternative, and Slug’s articulate lyricism and wordplay, the recipe for their long-term success returns in the new single. Telling the story of a washed up actor who struggles to be respected, the song revolves around the line “Everybody wants to see a falling star”, referencing how modern celebrities face the possibility of becoming the next big joke.

Enjoy the new music video below, and you can catch the duo on tour this summer and fall (dates below). Head to their website to pre-order your copy of Fishing Blues out through Rhymesayers.
