Flaunting over two decades worth of music, Mesa, Arizona emo-punk rock icons Jimmy Eat World have announced their ninth album will hit shelves October 21st. It’s been three years since their last album Damages, and so the band has closed the gap with their new single “Get Right”.
Holding onto their emo-rock origins, Jimmy Eat World lean towards mid-2ooos grunge with crunchy guitars and darker melodies in the new single. The familiar voice of lead singer Jim Adkins brings in a more current style of pop punk, as he sings about never feeling comfortable in the moment.
