Chastity – Strife (Music Video)
Whitby native Brandon Williams, or better known as the frontman of Chastity, released his sophomore record Home Made Satan back in September 2019, and has now shared the fourth visual accompaniment for the record with “Strife”.
Angsty, yet persevering can help to describe the suburbia-rock sound of “Strife”. Williams has eased up on the physical intensity of his vocals compared to his 2018 debut album, but that does not prevent him from unleashing his strong, rebellious energy overtop power-hungry instrumentation. Its engaging hook backs Williams’ as he bellows “Strife / I take it in stride”.
The music video stars Holden, a young boy who illustrates and sells his artwork on Instagram (@HoldenDraws) to raise money for charities and causes he is passionate about. The artwork in the video is part of the 10-year old philanthropist’s collection.
