Tommy Down – Don’t Think I’m Leaving Without You

London-based R&B/soul artist Tommy Down has been making music since the age of 14, expressing himself through the soulful and groovy stylings of his predecessors such as Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye. The young musician, now in his early 20s, plays with the jazz/funk band Pink Yesterday, and has shared his new single “Don’t Think I’m Leaving Without You”, as he kickstarts his solo career.

Written about the self-destructive nature of a breakup, “Don’t Think I’m Leaving Without You” explores the rabbit hole effect of overthinking mistakes and past relationships, preventing any sort of forward progress. The song’s slick R&B tempo and glossy funk leaves room for Tommy Down to share his ballad of lost love.
