Sports Team – Here’s The Thing (Music Video)
U.K. alt-rock group Sports Team have been building momentum with their live shows and Winter Nets, Keep Walking! EP. The British six-piece is set to release their debut full-length Deep Down Happy on April 3rd, and from the release is the red-hot single “Here’s the Thing”.
Keeping true to their athletic band name, the music vide for “Here’s the Thing” features lead singer Alex Rice performing a complex cheerleading routine, choreographed by one of the U.K.’s top cheerleading squad, Mana Cheerleading. The song itself is an energetic dance-rock tune, combining vintage proto-punk stylings with indie guitar-pop chromatics, as the band rips into the talk-is-cheap bullshit of the world.
