Composed of Steve Pagano and Mario Borgatta, Los Angeles indie pop duo thanks. came to be after the pair met at Berklee College of Music in 2009. Their similar vision and love for music has allowed them to work on their musical identity and play around with different sounds.
“We write tons of styles, we have songs that sound like Bruce Springsteen and we have songs that sound like Post Malone. It’s a very open-minded workflow when we’re working on thanks. It’s always for fun. If it’s not fun, it’s not thanks“, explains Borgatta.
Capturing the energetic dynamism of bands such as COIN, Foster the People, and Glass Animals, their new single “Busy” is exactly what you would expect: catchy melodies, falsetto vocals complementing candy-coated guitars and synths.
