Winnetka Bowling League – CVS (Music Video)

Those early, rushing feelings in a relationship are powerful ones. They can make even the grumpiest person leap head over heels for another person, and can lead to some unpredictable behaviour including:

  • Buying chocolate hearts from CVS
  • Sing sad songs on a Sunday afternoon
  • Say “I love you” just a little bit too soon

Among other things.

Los Angeles indie pop-rock quartet Winnetka Bowling League have captured that feeling and those quirky traditions in their new single “CVS”.

“CVS” is a indie pop love song that would instantly find its way onto a high school mixtape alongside the fluttering tones of Reliant K, Noah and the Whale, and that one band your S/O saw at an all-ages show “that one weekend”. Catchy hooks, lush production, and groovy synth-pop elements help bring “CVS” to life as a feel-good tune with nostalgia sprinkled into 2020.

Shot inside a CVS in Los Angeles, the music video features a few cameos, including frontman Matthew Koma’s newlywed Hilary Duff and their close friend/wedding officiator Christopher Mintz-Plasse.
