Busty and the Bass – Kids
After signing to Arts & Crafts earlier this year, Montreal-based soul/jazz ensemble Busty and the Bass have dropped a handful of new singles. The latest contribution to their discography is slow-burning soulful tune “Kids”.
As a group that was formed through the jazz program at McGill University, the eight-piece have been proud advocates of musical education and cultural education in schools. Written about giving kids a chance, “Kids” has a Billy Joel meets Stevie Wonder vibe as the octet deliver a bright, uplifting message.
