Alt-Punk Trio Fast Friends Rip Into Everyone On New Single “Fuck Ohio”
After debuting their hot-headed single “We Broke the World” earlier this year with an equally shocking deepfake music video, L.A. based trio Fast Friends have returned with a new deepfake video for their follow-up acoustic single “Fuck Ohio”.
Known for making music without rules, “Fuck Ohio” features “President Trump” hugging an American flag as the band sings along for the short-and sweet single that is both about something and nothing at the same time:
Fast Friends share: “We were incredibly close to just releasing the original voice memo of this song. We wrote it in ten minutes and were like, ‘okay, welp, that happened, now let’s write a real song.’ Somewhere along the way ‘Fuck Ohio’ became a real song. It’s about everything and everybody and also about nothing and nobody. The line can sometimes be razor thin.”
New Jersey, Kentucky, and California are also called out on the minute long blast, as the band professes “everybody sucks”, taking the opportunity to cover all their bases.
Fast Friends are releasing their debut HI T LO IQ EP on July 10th via Dine Alone Records.
