The OBGMs Tell Themselves “Not Again” On New Single
Toronto punk trio The OBGMs are gearing up to release their new record The End in October, and have shared the second single from the 10 track collection “Not Again”.
No strangers to fast-firing guitar riffs and dance-punk rhythms, “Not Again” showcases the band’s gritty, underground energy while exploring the turbulent internal conflict of self-destruction.
Frontman Densil McFarlane explains: “Bad advice, wrong choice, fake lovers and friends. ‘Not Again’ is about the lies I tell myself when I look in the mirror. The second single released this summer continues the exploration of internal struggles and self destruction.”
The upcoming record was produced by the legendary JUNO/Grammy award winning Dave Schiffman (PUP, The Bronx, Rage Against The Machine), making sure to bring out the best in the OBGMs with each crunchy bass line, frayed guitar riff, and punching drum beat.
