Another Sky Adds To The Heaviness of Winter With “It Keeps Coming” From Upcoming EP
London alternative rock group Another Sky managed to dazzle critics with their debut album I Slept On The Floor this past August. The group’s cohesiveness and powerful poignant sound is built on emotional lyrics and heavy, personal topics, such as toxic relationships, childhood trauma, and mental health, channeling the raw perspectives into bellowing songs.
Just four months following their debut record, Another Sky have announced they will be releasing a new EP on January 1st, 2021 titled Music For Winter Vol. 1, named based on front woman Catrin Vincent’s opinion on the season, saying “winter is the perfect time for somber music”.
The lead single “It Keeps Coming” certainly fits that description, with its heavy-weighted piano opening and dramatic full-band build, with Vincent’s deep, yet delicate vocals leading the way.
