Nu-Jazz Artist Kinisi Shares New Single “Lights”

Atlanta, Georgia native Kinisi was inspired by electronic live shows and local jazz improvisational performances at Gallery 992 for his new single “Lights”. Interested in experimenting with the guitar’s electronic abilities and the inclusion of pop, his new track is a ear-catching virtuosic performance, backed by saxophonist Quinn Mason, jazz drummer Dallas Dawson and pianist Peter Roglin (Charolastra).

Combining the dreamy guitars and synths of indie pop with the dynamic and active song arrangements of jazz, Kinisi has created an approachable and cerebral track with “Lights”, following pace with artists like Tom Misch and Yussef Dayes who continue to push the boundaries of crossovers.
