Vancouver Noise Rock Act Bloom 604 Share Double Music Video
Vancouver noise rock act Bloom 604 is the solo effort by multi-instrumentalist Jack Briscoe, rounded out by bassist Linden Poirier and drummer Josh Lauzé for live performances. Blending influences of noise rock, post-rock, and pop punk, Briscoe will be releasing his new album BLOOM on April 30th, and has shared a new double music video for two of the album’s singles.
Previously unreleased single “Rust and Sunshine” and blistering lead single “Punk Breed” combine for a fury of noise-driven post-rock, in line with METZ and earlier influences like Sonic Youth.
Adding to the distortion and cluster of instrumentation, the accompanying music video uses flashing lights, quick cuts, and monochrome aesthetic to bulk up the white noise of the guitars and the crashing energy of the percussion.
